- Project: Investigate the effects of micronutrition supplementation (e.g, Magnesium Glycinate, Omega-3, Collagen peptide) on athlete recovery, training consistency, and performance.

Key Research Objectives:
- Examine Magnesium glycinate and others effects on heart rate variability (HRV), sleep, and recovery in athletes.
- Investigate Omega-3's role in muscle soreness, protein resynthesis, and recovery.
- Study collagen peptide supplementation's impact on tendon integrity and training consistency.
Scholarship Details:
- Value: $30,000 NZD (covers 3 years of tuition)

Application
Applicants must complete the AUT Scholarship application form and provide a personal statement and documentation addressing point by point the conditions of appointment as outlined below. If your previous study was completed at a university other than AUT please also supply a copy of your academic transcripts, a brief CV containing contact details (maximum 2 pages) and a covering letter.
Reports from two academic referees are also required and must be sent directly and confidentially to the Scholarships Office.
Eligibility:
- MSc in Sport/Exercise Science or related field.
- Research experience, endurance training knowledge, data analysis skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
